Guacamole as basic as it gets

Ingredients

1 tsp olive oil1/2 clove garlic2 avocados1/2 lime
1. saute garlic in olive oil. (omit this step and the oil if you like the sharp taste of raw garlic AND you will be using it all within 24 hours.)
2. while garlic sautes, scoop out avocado fruit and place in small bowl
3. roll lime between hands or between hand and counter to loosen flesh.
4. cut lime in half, squeeze juice from one half the lime into the bowl with avocados.
5. place garlic in bowl with avocados and lime juice - draining as much oil from garlic as possible.
6. for chunky guacamole, mash with fork. for smooth guacamole mix with a blender until smooth.
cover unused portion tightly, preferably place saran wrap or wax paper against guacamole to prevent color changes.
referigerate.
