Creamy ham & vegetable stew

Ingredients
1.5 c water2 medium carrots1 medium potato1 medium onion2 tbls garlic1 c frozen peas1 c cubed ham1 can cream of mushroom soup.5 c velvetta
Directions
Chop carrots, potato, and onion into pieces (big for stew or small for soup). lightly brown onion and carrot then add potato, garlic and water. Bring to boil and reduce heat, cover and simmer till potatoes are tender (5-10 min.). Add peas and ham, return to boil; reduce heat and cook covered for about 5 minutes. Stir in soup and cheese. cook until heated through.

Makes about 5 1.25-cup servings.
