Stewed Apples

Ingredients
4-5 apples (2lbs)Cinnamon to tasteVanilla to tasteNutmeg to taste2 tbl Corn starch1/4 - 1/3 c of sugar depending on tartness of apples2 tbl Butter (portion into tiny bits to spread amongst the apples)
Directions
Mix all ingredients into a crock pot and "stew" for 4 hrs on low or until apples are tender, not mushy. Stir at least once during stewing.
