Ground Turkey & Mushroom Ragu

1 tbsp olive oil8oz white mushrooms, cut in quaters1 cup chopped onion (1 large)1 tbsp minced garlic1 lb lean ground Turkey28 oz can Italian peeled tomatoes1 tsp Italian herbs seasoning1 tsp sugar1 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper
Heat oil in a large nonsick skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms,onion and garlic cook about 5 minutes stirring often, until onions are soft. Remove mixture. Add Turkey to skillet and break up with a wooden spoon until cooked. Add the mushroom mixture and rest of ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat , cover and simmer for 15 to 20 min. until sauce has thickened and flavors are blended. Enjoy!!
