Rose's Fat Flush Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. ground turkey16 oz. tomato puree1 8 oz. can diced tomatoes16 oz. purified water1 onion, chopped1 package frozen spinach1 cup green beans, chopped2 garlic cloves, minced1 med. green pepper, chopped1 med. red pepper, chopped1 celery stalk, chopped1 bay leaf1 TB fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Brown meat and drain fat. Place browned meat with all other ingredients in a large pot. Cook over medium heat for 1 hour. Remove bay leaf and serve.

Alternatively, you can place the ingredients in a pressure cooker and cook on high for 5 minutes. (Brown the meat first.)

    I have been making this recipe since the book first came out. I am not a soup eater, but this one is fantastic; quick, easy, and healthy. Also, you can't beat the calorie count! I want to add that the soup pictured looks nothing like what I make. There are beans, which is not in the recipe. - 12/29/12
