1 1/4 lb. ground beef1 onion finely chopped1 tsp. minced garlic2 14oz cans stewed tomatoes, do not drain1 15oz can tomato sauce4 cups of water1 boullion cube1 15 oz can peas, drained1 cup finely chopped carrots (about 3 medium carrots)1 pkg frozen spinach, thawed, drained3/4 tsp black pepper1 cup uncooked elbow macaroni - cook before adding1 1/2 Tbs. Italian seasoning
1. Place beef, onion and garlic in a skillet over medium heat. Cook until beef is evenly brown and onion is tender. Drain.
2. Transfer beef, onion and garlic into large pot. Mix in tomatoes, tomato sauce, water, peas, carrots, spinach, boullion cube and pepper. Bring to a boil Reduce heat to low and cook 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
3. Stir macaroni into the soup. Season with Italian seasoning.
