Monastary Lentil Soup

Ingredients
2 cups chopped onions3 cloves garlic chopped1 tbsp olive oil1 cup red lentils6 cups water3 tsp vegeta1 tbsp oregano1 tsp thyme1/4 cup tomato paste1 cup chopped frozed spinach
Directions
Fry onions and garlic in olive oil
Add lentils and spices and stir them in
Add water and tomato paste, bring to a boil and simmer for one hour.
Add spinach and heat.
If desired add a dollop of sherry for flavour
