Shrimp and Scallop Saute

3 tbl butter3 tbl olive oil6 large cloves garlic minced1 lb mushrooms sliced2 tbl tomato paste1/4 cup dry whit wine1/4 cup fresh lemon juice1 lb medium shrimp1 bunch green onion sliced1 lb bay scallops1/3 cup julienned fresh basil
Melt butter and olive oil in heavy skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and saute 1 min. Increase heat to high and add muchrooms and saute until just begining to soften, about 5 min. Add tomato paste and stir 30 seconds. Add wine and lemon juice and bring to a boil. Add shrimp and sliced green onions and stir 1min. Add scallops and stir until shrimp and scallops are cooked through, about 3 min. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with julienned basil and serve. Serves 6
