Low fat/sugar Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies with Pecans

Ingredients
1/3 cup of Butter (unsalted)6 tablespoons of Splenda100 ml Egg Beaters1 1/2 cups of Oats1 cup of Flour1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda1/2 teaspoon of Baking Powderdash of Sea Salt1/2 cup of Semisweet Chocolate Chips1/2 cup of Chopped Pecans
Directions
1. Cream butter and 'sugar' together in a small mixing bowl. Add egg substitute; mix.

2. Add oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl; mix.

3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry; mix well.

4. Add the chocolate chips and pecans to the batter; mix well.

5. Roll balls of dough, approx 1 inch diameter and flatten onto an ungreased baking sheet; makes approx 30 cookies

6. Bake on 350 Celsius for approx 8 minutes or until done.

7. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes; remove to a rack to finish cooling.

    I made this, the dough is very dry and does not hold together well. Tastes pretty good though. I want to try with raisins instead of chocolate chips. - 7/5/10
