Pampered Chef: Pronto Pizza Patties

1 lb 93% Ground Turkey1/2 C Bread Crumbs1/2 C Diced Green Bell Pepper1/4 C Diced Onion1 T Chopped Garlic1 Large Egg White1 Can Pizza Sauce1/2 C Shredded 2% Mozarella Cheese6 French Bread Slices - 1/2" Thick4T Olive OilItalian Seasoning to Taste
Mix turkey, veggies, breadcrumbs & half of sauce with egg white.
Form into 6 1/2" oblong patties, cook on electric griddle at medium high head, or skillet on stovetop until browned on the outside and no longer pink in the middle.
Wipe the skillet with paper towel. Brush one side of each piece of bread with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian Seasoning. Toast face down 1-2 minutes or until lightly browned.
Place patties on bread slices. Heat remaining pizza sauce and spoon over sandwiches, sprinkle with cheese.
*For best results finely chop all vegetables.
*Serves 6.
