I just made this, it's delicious! To lower the sodium content I bought lower sodium chicken stock, and to decrease the carbs I didn't use carrots (they are a very starchy vegetable). - 1/14/10

This was a yummy recipe, but it tasted a little too much like Velveeta. We added tarragon (1/2 tsp), cayenne (1/4 tsp), cream (1/4 cup), and we used beef broth (we didn't have chicken broth). To. Die. For. - 1/14/10

Thank you! we add more spices to it as well, but we never add the same so I went for the basics. :)

Question: do you use a 1/3 of a BIG block or a SMALL block of velveeta? I have a small block. - 1/26/11

Sorry, never saw your comment. We use the big block.
