Apple & Peach Crumble

Filling:4 large golden delicious apples1 16oz can halved peaches in syrup1/4 cup sugar1 lemon, juiced3 tbsp flour1/2 tsp ground cinnamonTopping:1/2 cup chopped pecans1 cup flour1 1/4 cups rolled oats1/2 cup packed brown sugar1 tsp ground cinnamonpinch of salt8 tbsp (1 stick) COLD unsalted butter1 tbsp maple syrup
Preheat oven to 350
For filling:
Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and lemon juice. Peel, core and cut apples and cut peaches. Toss in sauce. Pour into large casserole dish.
For topping:
Mix all ingredients except butter until well incorporated. Add cold butter 1 tbsp at a time, crumbling and fully incorporating before adding next piece.
When fully mixed, pack topping on top of filling and place in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until bubbling and brown on top.
