Ingredients
Egg, fresh, 4 large Flour, white, .75 cup Milk, nonfat, .75 cup Salt, .5 tsp Butter, unsalted, 4 tbsp Granulated Sugar, .25 cup Cinnamon, ground, 2 tsp Granny smith apple - 2 med. apple
Directions
mix eggs, flour, milk and salt together with mixer

melt 1/2 of the butter in two 8 inch cake pans
peel and slice granny smith apples into two pans
split batter between two
bake at 400 degrees 20 to 25 minutes

    Very delicious! I just made this for my family and it was a great success. My husband and son have Celiac so changed the flour to brown rice flour and I don't know how much the flavor was changed but it was very good. I am sure it added a bit more fiber as well.     I made this tonight, and I am not sure what I did wrong; but the pancakes were really thin and stuck to the pans. So, while it didn't look pretty, still tasted good. - 1/17/11

    German Oven Pancakes are great. I use splenda in the batter instead of sugar. I also reduce the amount of butter. I omit the apples and do it the traditional way. I sprinkle a little powdered sugar and lemon juice(or other citrus juice) on top and serve hot from oven. - 10/7/10
