Spaghetti Sauce with Turkey Meat

Ingredients
40 0z. lean ground turkey1 C chopped onions1 C chopped celery1 C chopped bell pepper16 oz. drained canned mushroom stems and pieces3- 4.25 oz. cans sliced or chopped olives (I use chopped)2- 28 oz cans diced tomatoes with juice1- 28 oz can tomato puree1- 6 oz can tomato paste8 oz water1 Tbsp Italian seasoning1 Tbsp minced garlic1 tsp oregano1 tsp chili powder1 Tbsp salt (or to taste)1 tsp pepper (or to taste)
Directions
Brown turkey and place in large pot. Chop and saute onions, celery, and bell pepper. Add to turkey. Add all other ingredients and mix well. Cook for at least 1 hour. Works well if you cook it for several hours in a slow cooker.
This sauce tastes better the longer you cook it. Even better the next day.
Makes 32 servings, .5 cup each.
