Spiced Pumpkin Scones with Fig Sauce

Ingredients
2/12 cups self-rising flour 1/2 - 1/4 cup sugar1 TB unsalted butter1 Cup cooked mashed pumpkin1 egg, slightly beaten1 pinch salt1 tsp ground cinnamon2 oz fat-free milk, more if neededcanola cooking spray
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F

Cream butter and sugar.

In large bowl, add flour and salt. Add egg, pumpkin, milk, and creamed butter and sugar to dry mixture. Mix til just combinded. More milk may need to be added depending on texture

Lightly spray cookie sheet with canola spray. Roll out dough onto floured surface to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into scones.

Bake 10-15 minutes or until tops are light golden brown. Scones should be soft and not hard.

Serve with fig jam.
