Ingredients
2 cups butter2 cups sugar2 cups packed brown sugar4 eggs2 tsp vanilla5 cups single grain baby oatmeal3 cups flour1 tsp. salt2 tsp. baking powder2 tsp. baking soda24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Cream butter, sugar and brown sugar in mixer bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, beat well. Mix baby oatmeal, flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda together. Add to batter, mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Shape tablespoons full of dough into balls and dip tops in sugar. Place 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool in pan for 2 minutes. Remove to wire rach to cool completely. Makes 88, 2-inch cookies.

**Note** The secret to this recipe is the baby oatmeal. Do not substitute regular oatmeal or regular oatmeal that has been blended. The cookies will not have the same, chewy consistancy. Be creative! Add nuts, morsels of different flavors, raisins, craisins, etc to the basic dough :)
