L.R. venison Keema

Ingredients
3 lbs. ground venison294g (2 cups) onions, chopped442g (2-1/2 cup) diced potatoes208g (2 cups) peas3 cloves garlic, minced1 qt. canned tomatoes, chopped1 tsp. cinnamon1 tsp. ginger2 tsp. tumeric1/4 tsp. red pepper2 T. coriander3 T. curry powder1 T. chili powder1-1/2 tsp. salt1 cup pizza or tomato sauce1 cup waterseasoned salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Brown venison and onion in a large kettle. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally until vegetables are tender and flavors are well blended. Serve over brown rice. Makes about 12-1-cup servings.
