Ingredients
Puffed Rice - 1 cup (14 gms), 16 serving (remove)*Canola Oil, 0.3 cup (remove)*Peanuts, oil-roasted (with salt), 1.6 cup, halves and whole (remove)Salt, 1.5 tsp (remove)Brown Sugar, 2 tsp packed (remove)Raisins, 0.25 cup (not packed) (remove)Paprika, 1 tbsp (remove)Garlic, 3 clove (remove)*Cumin seed, 1 tsp (remove)Yellow Mustard, 2 tsp or 1 packet (remove)
Directions
Heat oil. Add cumin and mustard seeds and when the mustard starts spluttering add a pinch of hing. Now add minced garlic, raisins, salt and sugar and lower heat. When the raisins are plumped up pour in the puffed rice and gently stir to mix. Continue on low heat until crisp. Store in airtight box. Will store for at least a month.
