Quick Hungarian Goulash

Ingredients
1 lb, lean ground beef2 turnips, peeled and chopped1/2 lb. baby carrots, cut into bit-sized chunks1 medium onion, chopped2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked4 cups. beef broth1/2 t. marjoram2 t. salt1 t. black pepper1 bay leaf2 T. paprika2 T. garlic, chopped
Directions
Brown ground beef in dutch oven. While beef is browning prepare vegetables. Drain the fat from the ground beef and add the vegetables and herbs. Saute for about 3 minutes.
Add the beef broth and cook for about 10 minutes. Add the macaroni and cook until tender.
