Fish Chili

Ingredients
3 med onions1 T olive oil3 clove garlicsalt1 1/2 t chile powder1/2 t cumin, ground1/2 t oregano1 c red wine dry29 oz tomatoes9 oz green chiles3 splash tabasco15 oz red kidney beans10 oz white fishlight sour creamparsely
Directions
makes 4 servings
Heat Dutch oven. Add oil, chop onions, cook until tender
Mince garlic, add with salt to onions
Add chili powders, cumin, oregano, stir 1 minute
Add wine
drain tomatoes, saving juice
Add 2 cups of tomatoes to pan, with chilies and Tabasco
Bring to boil, then simmer 30 minutes
Drain and add beans
Cube and bone fish, add to pan, heat 5 minutes
Serve with reserved tomatoes, sour cream and parsley

    Sounds very interesting so going to try this one out. I love fish curry and redular chili so sghould love this one. - 2/15/10
