Baked Beans

Ingredients
1 pound of beans - I use a combination of borlotti, kidney and navy beans6 cups of water1 cup of onions1/2 cup of ketchup1/2 cup of salsa3/4 cup brown sugar1/3 cup maple syrup1/4 to 1 tsp of hot pepper sauce1/4 cup molasses1 tsp of dry mustard or 2 tsp of prepared dijon mustard1 Tbsp vinegar - I like balsamic
Directions
Boil beans with enough water to cover well. Cook 5 minutes. Then let stand 1 hour.
Drain beans ass 6 cups of water and onions. Cook until tender about 1 hour or place in slow cooker for 6-8 hours.
Drain and discard water.
Stir in remaining ingredients and cook 30 minutes.
