hummus

Ingredients
Drain and rinse one standard can of garbonzo/chickpeas. add 2 T. water, 2 T Tahini paste, 2 T. olive oil, a splash on lemon, and a dash of salt. Put all ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth, other spices can be added according to taste, ie, hot spices.
Directions
plan on having many cans of chickpeas on hand. I found tahini (sesame paste) at my healthfood store, a jar should last you a long time. I also cut up pita bread, brushed with olive oil and put on cookie sheet in 375* oven for 8 min or until crips. These go great together.
