Parmesan Rice

Ingredients
1c. chicken broth1T. olive oil2tsp. dried basil1/4tsp. black pepper1 clove minced garlic1/2 c. instant brown rice1/4c. parmesan cheese
Directions
Combine chicken broth, olive oil, dried basil, pepper & garlic in a small saucepan, and bring to a boil. Add rice, stir, cover, and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer covered for 15-20 minutes, until liquid is absorbed. Stir in parmesan cheese, and let sit for a few minutes. Makes 2 ~1c. servings
