Spicy Black Bean and Sausage Soup

Place 1c. beans and 1 c water in blender and process until smooth.
In a medium sauce pan coated with cooking spray, saute onions for a few minutes, until soft. Add spices and cook 2 minutes. Add beans and cook 1 minute. Add remaining water and bean puree, simmer 5 minutes. Add smoked sausage, heat thoroughly and serve.
