Chicken Merlot with Mushrooms

15 oz of boneless skinless chicken breast6 cups chopped mushrooms.1 large onion, chopped.5 cloves of garlic, diced.3/4 cup of chicken broth1 ~ 6oz can of tomato paste.6 oz of red wine.2 tbsp. quick-cooking tapioca2 tbsp. fresh basil, diced2 tps. salt2 tps. black pepper
In a 4-5 quart slow-cooker place mushrooms, onion, garlic. Top with the chicken pieces.
Combine the rest of the ingredients in a bowl and pour over chicken.
Cook on low setting 5 hours...or on high for 3 hours.
Typically this is served over rice, noodles, whatever your fancy is.
