Broccoli soup
Makes 3 1/2 cups so a little over a cup per serving. In a saucepan add onion, Broccoli, Thyme, bay leaf and garlic.bring to a boil then simmer 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf, and blend in blender half at a time. In same pan melt butter, blend in flour salt and pepper.Add half and half all at the same time. cook and stir until bubbly. Stir in blended vegetable mixture, warm until heated through. season to taste with salt and pepper.
