1 pound ground turkey1 large onion, chopped1/2 green pepper chopped2 cloves of fresh garlic chopped2 tablespoons chili powder1 tablespoon ground cumin1 teaspoon dried oregano leaves, crushed1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper1 cups Swanson® Chicken Broth (regular, Natural Goodness™ or Certified Organic)1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilies1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained1 (16 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
1.Heat a 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the turkey, onion, green pepper, garlic, chili powder, cumin, oregano and black pepper. Cook until turkey is well browned, stirring frequently to break up meat.
2.Stir the broth, tomatoes, beans and corn into the saucepan. Heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low.
3.Cover and cook for 30 minutes. Stir the chili occasionally while cooking

This is a good chili, and is also pretty healthy. While I do think it's good as is, I think it's missing a small layer of flavor that could put it over the top. Next time I think I might try to add 1 Tbsp of brown sugar and 1 Tbsp of red wine vinegar to add a little bit more sweet & sour blend to th - 3/31/16

Great recipe, will make again. I toasted the corn in the meat drippings for additional flavor, and used half chile powder and half smoked Spanish paprika (the hot kind) to kick it up a notch. I like to serve this Mexican style with shredded lettuce, radishes, and light sour cream. Yum! - 1/20/13
