Ingredients
2 15.5 Ounce Cans Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans)Olive Oil Spray (or 1 1/2 Tablespoons Olive Oil)Garlic PowderOnion PowderPiri Piri (or Cayenne Pepper)
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.

Drain and rinse chickpeas in colander and let sit for 5 minutes.

Pour the chickpeas onto a foil lined, rimmed baking sheet. Blot chickpeas dry with paper towels. Make sure the chickpeas are dried well.

Spray chickpeas with a thin coating of olive oil spray. Use your hands to roll chickpeas in oil to make sure all surfaces are covered.

Sprinkle seasonings onto chickpeas.

Bake for 30-40 minutes until browned and crunchy.

Be careful, as the chickpeas can sometimes pop like popcorn.

    1 1/2 tablespoons butter
    1/2 teaspoon real salt
    1/2 teaspoon paprika
    dash of cayenne
    1/4 teaspoon cumin
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

    I made these and they turned out pretty good on my first try. I baked at 350 on parchment paper and kept checking them every 15 min. They baked for about 45 min. - 7/17/11
