Bubble Pizza with Ground Turkey (tweaked)

Ingredients
1 can Pillsbury Reduced Fat Biscuits16oz. Fat Free Cottage Cheese1 jar of Ragu Light Tomato and Basil pasta sauce1 sm. green pepper1/2 onionGarlic Powder1lb Ground Turkey 93/7
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Cook ground turkey in frying pan with small amount of cooking spray

Add chopped green pepper and 1/2 onion to turkey

Sprinkle garlic powder on mixture

Put meat and veggie mixture in a casserole dish; spread cottage cheese on top; add 1/2 pasta sauce on top

Cut biscuits into quarters and distribute over cottage cheese

Spread remaining pasta sauce over biscuits

Cook for 45 minutes

Sprinkle with cheese for last few minutes

    My biscuits didn't cook, and it was pretty watery. I'm going to try again pre-cooking the biscuits for a bit and replacing some sauce with tomato paste (and extra seasoning since the paste doesn't have as much flavor as the sauce). Hopefully my "tweaks" will work. Hubby loved it anyway. Go figure :) - 2/8/10

    I really enjoyed this. It tasted like lasagna to me. I didn't have any spaghetti sauce, so I used tomato soup, tasted great. I would add more veggies next time! - 2/4/10

    This was so good! I did it w/mushrooms, green pprs and onions bc I didn't have any ground turkey and it turned out awesome! It was so easy to make...especially since I didn't have to cook the veggies beforehand. I just layered the ingredients and baked! - 1/28/10
