Sausage Tortellini Soup

Ingredients
1 lb. Italian Sausage, cut into small pieces1 med. onion, chopped1 28 oz can crushed tomatoes1 8 oz can tomato sauce5 - 6 cups beef broth1/2 cup red wine (optional)1/2 t. basil1 med. zucchini, chopped3 to 4 carrots, sliced thinly1 green pepper, diced8 to 12 oz. uncooked tortellini
Directions
In large stockpot, cook sausage with onion until well done. Drain fat.

Add remaining ingredients, except tortellini to the pot and simmer for 30 minutes. Or use a crockpot and cook on low most of the day.

Stire in tortellini and simmer an additional 30 minuts. If using crockpot, put frozen tortellini in one hour before serving, if tortellini is not frozen, 1/2 hour should do.
