Chocolate Cherry Yogurt Cake

Ingredients
3 TBS Butter1 Square unsweetened chocolate1 TBS Splenda1/2 C Brown Sugar, packed1 C Nonfat, plain yogurt1 tsp vanilla1 egg2 C flour (white or wheat)1 tsp Baking Powder2 tsp Baking Soda2 C Fresh pitted Cherries
Directions
Melt butter and chocolate together over low heat. Remove from heat. Add splenda and sugar. Beat well. Add yogurt, vanilla, and egg. Beat till creamy. In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and baking soda. MIx well (or sift.) Add wet ingredients to dry. Mix well. Fold in cherries.
Bake in 9 x 9 in greased baking pan for 35 - 40 mins. Test with a toothpick or cake tester to make sure it's done.
Top with powdered sugar, if you like.
