16 oz bulk pork sausage1/2 cup chopped onion1/2 chopped red bell pepper1 garlic clove, minced1/2 tsp. basil, dry1/2 tsp. oregano, dry1/4 cup Contadina Pizza Sauce3/4 cup Mozzerella Cheese, shredded2 Pillsbury Pizza Crust (Thin Crust) - 11 oz roll
1. Preheat oven to 425.
2. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat. Brown pork sausage, onion, pepper, garlic until cooked through. Add basil, oregano, and pizza sauce.
3. Unroll dough; divide into 4 equal portions. Roll each portion into a 6x4 inch rectangle. Top with 1/3 cup of sausage mixture, 1 tbsp. of mozzerella cheese. Fold dough over sausage mixture and cheese. Press edges together with a fork to seal.
4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Repeat procedure with remaining dough and sausage mixture.
6. Bake at 425 for 10 minutes or until browned. Yields 7 servings.
