Cranberry Orange Scones

2 cups flour10 t. sugar (divided)1 T grated orange peel2t. baking powder1/2 t. salt1/4 t. baking soda1/3 cup cold butter1 cup dried cranberries1/4 cup orange juice1/4 cup half and half1 egg1 T. half and half1/2 cup powdered sugar1 T. orange juice
Combine flour, 7 t. sugar, orange peel, baking powder, salt, soda. Cut in butter.
In separate bowl combine cranberries, orange juice, half and half, egg.
Add to flour and stir until a soft dough forms. Knead 6-8 times.
Pat dough into 8" circle. Cut into 10 wedges.
Place on ungreased pan. Bruch with half and half. Sprinkle with remaining sugar.
Bake 400 F. 15-20 minutes or until lightly brown.
Glaze while hot.
Glaze is 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1 T. orange juice
