Buckwheat Kasha Burgers (6 servings)

Ingredients
Buckwheat, 1 cup Beef stock, home-prepared, 2 cup + 1 cup waterOlive oil, 2 tsp (optional)Onions, raw, 2 medium (2-1/2" dia) Mushrooms, fresh, 10 medium Garlic, 2 clove Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (1/2 cup dry), 1 serving Soy Sauce, 1.5 tbsp Pepper to taste
Directions
1. Cook Kasha according to cooking instructions on package (I used an additional cup of water). Cook, remove, cool.
2. In non-stick frying pan, heat oil (2 tsp. optional) over med/high heat. Cook onions, mushrooms, garlic for 10 mins. approx. Remove to large bowl. Stir in Buckwheat, oats, soy sauce and pepper (to taste).
3. Use hands to form mixture into 6 patties about 1 inch thick. Cook on griddle or pan for 4 to 5 mins. per side until outside is dark brown and crisp.
Makes 6 servings.
