ParisApril's Homemade Whole Wheat Bagels

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups warm water2 1/2 tsp dry active yeast3 T sugar or honey2 tsp salt5-6 cups flour
Directions
Add the first four ingredients together and half of the flour mix well. Slowly add more flour until a ball forms. Knead slowly adding more flour until dough is smooth and elastic. Let rise in a greased bowl covered with a tea towel for 1 hour or until doubled in sized. Roll dough into a long rope and cut into 16 pieces and roll each piece into a rope attaching the ends with a bit of water. Boil 4 at a time for 1 min flip and boil the other side for 1 min.

Bake in a 450 degree oven for 15-20 minutes. Cool on a cooling rack.
