French Lentil Soup

Ingredients
8 oz Green Lentils (French)1/8 cup Olive Oil1/2 cup Carrots, chopped1/2 cup onion, chopped3 cups broth1 cup water2 tsp Cumin1 tsp GarlicSalt Pepper
Directions
1. Soak lentils in hot water

2. Saute onion, carrot, and olive oil.

3. Add lentils, broth, water, and spices to sauteed mixture

4. Cook 45 minutes or until lentils are cooked through.

Serving = 1 cup
