Slower Cooker Split Pea Sausage Soup

Ingredients
1 pound dried split peas7 c. water20 oz low sodium chicken broth1 pound smoked turkey sausage (I use hot italian), sliced1 1/2 c. chopped carrot1 c chopped celery2 medium red potatoes peeled and cubed1/2 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp ground oregano2 bay leaves1 onion, chopped
Directions
Add all ingredients to a 5 quart slow cooker. Cook on high for 4 to 5 hours.

Remove bay leaves before eating!
