Traditional Chili (Slow Cooker Recipe)

Ingredients
2 lbs lean beef for chili (or substitute ground beef or ground turkey)1 large onion, finely chopped1 10-oz can tomatoes with green chilies2 1/2 cups tomato juice2 TBSP chili powder1 TBSP cumin1 TBSP minced garlic1 can kidney or pinto beans
Directions
Brown meat in skillet. (If using ground beef, drain excess fat).
Add all ingredients except beans to slow cooker. Mix well.
Cover and cook for 7 - 9 hrs.
Add beans. Cook for additional 30 minutes.
Serve with mexican style corn bread.

Makes 10 servings.
