Korean style beef short ribs

Ingredients
*Soy Sauce, .33 cupSesame Oil, 1 tbsp*Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar, 1 tbspBrown Sugar, .33 cup, packedGinger Root, 3 tspGarlic, 3 tspPepper, red or cayenne, .5 tspCorn Starch, .125 cupWater, tap, .125 cup (8 fl oz)*Beef short rib, 42.24 oz
Directions
Put all ingredients except cornstrach and water in a slow cooker and cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 9.

Once the ribs are done, remove from crock pot and skim excess fat from the liquid

In a separate bowl, mix corn starch and water and pour mixture into reserved liquid to thicken into sauce.

Serve ribs with sauce over rice

    My crock pot doesn't have the best lid and I lost some moisture during the cooking process and so it got a little dry. I feel like I would maybe add some pineapple at the end or something with a bit of tang. Otherwise very good and worth trying again. - 4/11/10
