Though not bad, on its own it is incredibly bland--it's nothing without a full-flavored accompaniment. - 6/14/13

Made this tonight along with blackened salmon, the two flavors worked really well together. My rice, I used jasmine rice, ended up cooking a lot faster than the 20-25 minutes the recipe says, - 5/7/12

Has anyone served this in a pineapple? I saw it once, and thinking I might try it. Wasn't sure if the pineapple would dry up and start to smell or anything like that! - 1/27/12

This was pretty good. I had to add more water halfway through, and I added green onions and seasoning instead of cilantro. I will be making this again sometime. - 12/20/10

Among the best rice I have ever had. I've gotten this at restaurants before and always found it too starchy- rinsing beforehand really seems to do the trick tho- it was a total crowd pleaser when I made this for my mom on mother's day! - 5/24/10

My whole family enjoyed this, which is amazing because they don't like brown rice at all. - 1/25/09
