Introduction

This is WONDERFUL! The contrast between the sweet honey and savory ginger and garlic makes this fish amazing. This is WONDERFUL! The contrast between the sweet honey and savory ginger and garlic makes this fish amazing.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Fresh Ginger, minced
    Garlic, minced
Soy sauce (low sodium), 1/3 cup
    Orange juice, 1/3 cup
    Honey, 1/4 cup
    Green onions, chopped, 1/3 cup
4 small Salmon filets (about 4 oz. each)

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a large ziploc bag, and refrigerate for 15-30 minutes to marinate the fish. Remove from bag and grill until it flakes with a fork. I use a George Foreman grill, which takes about 7 minutes. On a regular grill, it would take longer.

Optional: While fish is cooking, put leftover marinade in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring often, to reduce it to a thick sauce. Spoon over fish.

Makes 4 servings, and is great with rice.

Best salmon I've ever had. The taste is AMAZING! I poured the marinade into a 9x13 pan and cooked the fish at 350 for 20 min. and it was perfect! SO good! We've already had it twice. - 1/27/11

This was incredible! We LOVED it! And - coming from someone who is challenged enough in the kitchen to have a problem with Ramen Noodles - it was easy enough even for me! Definitely going to do this one again! - 10/8/09

Second time I've made this, and it was even better! I cooked the leftover marinade as directed and spooned it over the salmon and rice. I broiled the salmon for about 10 minutes instead of grilling too. YUM from me and the BF! - 3/31/09

This is a really interesting marinade. A bit sweet with an asian flair. I really enjoyed it. My hubby isn't a huge fan of Salmon, but he really enjoyed the flavor this marinade gave. We'll definitely use again. - 5/7/08
