Slow Cooker Hearty Turkey Meatball Wild Rice Soup

1 package Trader Joe's Turkey Meatballs*1/2 c dry black beans1 T canola oil1 green bell pepper1/4 c chopped onion3 cloves garlic2 c Trader Joe's Organic, low sodium vegetable broth1 c water1 T of your favorite spice(s) (no salt added)1 - 14 oz can diced tomatoes1 package frozen corn2/3 c dry Minnesota Wild Rice*Can substitute with beef meatballs, etc.
In 2 cups of water, soak black beans overnight.
In a large slow cooker, cook black beans and vegetable broth on low-setting for 2 hours.
Add remaining ingredients, cook on high until beans and rice are tender, and meat is cooked through.
After ingredients are tender/cooked through, add milk and flour for a thicker soup. If you want a thinner soup, add more water or vegetable broth.
