Ingredients
Mix 1 cup milk1 cup sugar 2 tbsp. flour in small saucepan. Bring to boil and simmer until thick. Whisk diligently to avoid lumps. Remove from stove and cool to room temperature. Add 1 cup room temperature butter and vanilla to taste. Whip until light and fluffy. This recipe easily makes two plus cups of amazing frosting that is great for piped decorating or even a lovely filling between layers. Keeps well in the fridge.
Directions
At least 2 full cups of fluffy light and extraordinarily delicious frosting goes a long way to top cakes of any kind. Thirty-two conservative servings would be my calculated guess...BUT....you may not be able to stop at conservative!

Cook 1 cup milk, with 1 cup sugar & 2 tbsp. flour until it comes to a boil and thickens. Whisk it diligently to avoid lumps! Remove from the stove and when it has cooled, add 1 cup of butter ( room temperature) and vanilla to taste. Whip until light and fluffy. It is great for piping. TRY not to eat too much.
