Diet coke poke cake

1 package cake mix (nutrition figured with chocolate fudge cake mix)1 package sugar free jello (cherry used here)8oz package cool whip free1 12 oz can diet coke
Combine cake mix and diet coke. Pour into sprayed 9x13 casserole dish. Bake according to package directions.
When the cake comes out of the oven, mix the jello with 1 cup boiling water, still, then add 1 cup cold water. Poke the cake with the handle of a wooden spoon approximately 15 times. Pour jello mixture over cake. Cool in the refridgerator for 3-4 hours. Ice with cool whip free.
Makes 12 servings.
