Au Gratin Potatoes

3 tbsp butter3 tbsp flour2 cup milk2 cup shredded cheese4 potatoes, thinly sliced
Melt butter. Add flour and whisk well. Slowly whisk in milk. Let come to a boil, and whisk continously until thick. Mix in cheese until all melted. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and crushed red pepper.
Slice potatoes thinly and layer half in a 1 qt. baking pan. Pour half of sauce. Layer the other potatoes and remaining sauce. Top with panko bread crumbs.
Top with tinfoil, and back at 400 for 1.5 hours. Remove tinfoil and bake another 15-30 minutes, until potatoes are tender.
