Ingredients
Ground beef (the leaner the better)1 medium yellow onion1 container of mushrooms (100g)3 bags of Minute Rice Brown RiceExtra Virgin Olive OilSmart Balance W/ Flax Buttery Spread1 lg can of Tomato Paste 2 cloves of garlicseasoning to taste
Directions
Saute onions and mushrooms in the oil and margarine until the onions are becoming translucent. Add the beef (buffalo or turkey) and brown. About 2 minutes before finishing the beef add spices and garlic. Combine meat mixture with the finished brown rice in a large pot or bowl. Stir in the large can of tomato paste until fully combined. Serve.
