Banana Oatmeal Almond Cookies

2 1/4 Cups Whole Wheat Flour 1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar3/4 Cup Brown Sugar1 Cup Blue Bonnet Light Margarine2 ripe banana, mashed (small to medium sized)1 tsp salt1 tsp baking soda1 tsp vanilla extract1 tbsp cinnamon1/2 Cup Hershey's Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the flour, the salt, and the baking soda.
3. In a large bowl, beat the margarine, the brown sugar, and the granulated sugar thoroughly.
4. Add the mashed banana and the vanilla extract.
5. Gradually add the flour while beating.
6. Using a spoon, carefully stir in the oats.
7. Once the oats are mixed in, stir in the chocolate chips.
8. Drop the mix by spoonfuls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (or you may use a greased baking sheet). Leave1-inch spaces in between.
9. Bake for 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown
Serving is one cookie. When I make these cookies I am able to produce 4 dozen (48 cookies).
