Ingredients
3 quart home canned apple pie filling80g (1cup) quick oats110g (1 cup) oat bran45g (1/3 cup) whole wheat flour94g (1/2 cup) sucanat or brown sugar1/2 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt2 tsp. cinnamon2 oz. ( 1/4 cup) butter3 T. buttermilk
Directions
Place pie filling in a baking dish or dishes. Combine all the dry ingredients. Add butter and rub with the hands to mix well. Add buttermilk and stir with a fork to mix. Sprinkle crumbs on top of pie filling. Bake at 375 for 1 hour or until lightly browned and bubbly. Serves 24.

    This is delicious , I made my own filling with brown sugar sub and used it in crisp too. Added flax meal instead of oatbran and added some graham crumbs along with cranberries. Yummy. Used fatfree milk too. - 10/1/13
