1 lb ground turkey (93% lean)1 large green pepper, chopped (1 cup)1 small-medium onion, chopped (1 cup)2 cloves of garlic, minced or pressed32 oz beef broth4 cups (2 14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes1 cup (8 oz) tomatoe sauce1/4 cup (4 oz) tomatoe paste2 tsp Italian seasonings2 1/2 cups whole wheat pasta (spiral works great)1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
Brown the ground beef in the olive oil. Add onions, green peppers, and garlic to the browning meat until meat is throughly cooked.
Stir in broth, tomatoes, tomatoe sauce, tomatoe paste, and Itialian seasoning. Bring to a boil. Stir in pasta. Return to a boil, simmer for 10-12 minutes or pasta is tender. Sprinkle with cheese.
