Spicey Lentil soup/with spanish rice

Ingredients
2 cups of Lentils1 chopped tomato2 chopped carrots2 cloves of garlic minced1 can hot sauce(El Pato) yellow cansalt and tumeric to tastecook rice separate
Directions
It serves 2 to 3 people
In a 2qt sauce pan 3 cups of water bring to boil add lentils cook til they are soft then add your veggies and spices and let them simmer. Then cook your rice with safron(Mahatma). You can make it as hot as you like and enjoy! Left over for lunch.
